Cost of living
Good evening all.
Myself and my wife are planning on moving to Girne in the future. I wanted to get an idea of the cost of living. Assuming I purchase a 3 bed villa what is the average cost of living per month? I’m trying to get a handle on finances.
Ideally we eat out 3 times a week. Drive a car and generally eat local meat and veggies etc.
Any rough numbers would be appreciated
All the best

Re: Cost of living
I think you should be fine with $2K a month depending on car rental deal you get - i paid 600GBP for one month recently, it is a high season now.
My electricity bill for June was 750TL, for water i paid 400TL and got 98 tons a few weeks back. For July electricity bill will be higher because of heavy A/C use, it is hot now.

Re: Cost of living
I would say you will live very comfortably on £2000 a month.

not expensive tastes, unfortunately, prices have sky rocketed, can't see it being too easy for Brits just living on a pension, it definitely is getting harder, sorry but thats how it is

Re: Cost of living
From personal experience, I'd say $1800 to be comfortable.
