Car hire from Pathos airport

Can anyone confirm whether the hire car company which was at Pathos and I think Larnaca which worked with a Northern Cyprus Insurance company is still operating. You hired your car from a Southern Cyprus car hire company but your car insurance was from a Northern Cyprus company. Our daughter and family are flying to Pathos now in July and wondered whether they can hire a car at Pathos airport to bring over the border. They wanted to stay a couple of days in the South and possibly play golf whilst there.
