Amazed that there hasn’t been one mention on here about the Queen dying unless I’ve missed it? RIP your Majesty

This was placed on Facebook by Royal British Legion Kyrenia Branch..if anyone interested…

Below are timings for the live stream of the funeral of our Late Patron, Queen Elizabeth II. This is at Colony Hotel, Girne. All times are Cyprus times. Doors will open at 10:30 and the day will be live streamed until 18:00hrs.

10:30 Doors will open to allow people to be seated for the start of the live stream

11:00: Big Ben will strike
Big Ben will strike clearly, before the bell's hammer is covered with a thick leather pad to muffle its strikes for the rest of the day, out of respect and deference to the late monarch.

12:00: The RBL Kyrenia Branch standards will be marched into the Ballroom. Followed by the National Anthem and a short address by Sir Michael Graydon

12.30: Queen's coffin is carried from House of Parliament to Westminster Abbey
The Queen's coffin will be moved onto the state gun carriage which will be outside the north door of Westminster Hall.
From there, it will be pulled by naval ratings using ropes instead of horses from the Hall to Westminster Abbey.
13:00: The Queen's coffin is carried to the High Altar
13:00 to 14:00: The state funeral at the Abbey
The state funeral will be led by the Dean of Westminster and the Archbishop of Canterbury.
14:00: The Last Post
14:05 to 1500: Queen's coffin is carried to Wellington Arch via The Mall
The Queen's coffin will then be placed back on the state gun carriage, before the royal funeral procession will solemnly move through Parliament Square, Whitehall, Constitution Hill and The Mall, past Buckingham Palace, to arrive at Wellington Arch at 1pm.
15:00 to 18:00: The coffin is transported to Windsor
Then the coffin will be transported to Windsor, to her final resting place at St George's Chapel via the Long Walk.

Entry will be free and open to everyone. Refreshments can be purchased from the hotel during procedures and waiters will be on hand in the room for any orders. These will be paid for at the time.

We ask that you dress respectfully and fitting of the occasion.

The room is situated on the 4th floor and for those with mobility issues there is a lift directly to this room which can be accessed via liaison with the hotel reception.
Old Soldiers never die, they simply fade away, never to be forgotten.
