The Abnormals - The Venue

THE Abnormals raised an impressive TL1,500 when they performed at The Venue in Esentepe on Saturday 22 July.
Once again, The Abnormals put on an excellent show where customers spent the evening with Elvis, Robbie Williams, Michael Jackson and a whole host of other stars.
The Abnormals have been supporting and raising money for EFRAR, supporting Tulips who support those with cancer, for the last 3 years and whilst they do not claim to be the best singers in North Cyprus they are certainly the most outrageous in both costumes and spirit.
About 80 customers were entertained at the first show of the new season at The Venue and had the opportunity to enjoy a good meal before the show.
The Abnormals not only put on shows to raise money for Tulips, but attend other events, in full costume, irrespective of the weather and they also attend the Fun Run, raising money in collecting tins and by posing for photographs.
Mary Watson, Chair of EFRAR 2018 commented: “When we met Susie and Martin Ford of the Abnormals 3 years ago little did we know how determined the whole group would be to raise money for Tulips who support those with cancer. We are so grateful for all their efforts and we are delighted they continue to support EFRAR whenever possible.
Our thanks must go to The Abnormals, to the lady who raises further money by making food at the Kuzzy Bar in Esentepe on the weekends and giving all profits to EFRAR, to the owners and staff of The Venue, to all those who attended the event, those who donated to the raffle and to those who gave additional donations.”
