The second Abnormals’ show of the season raised a total of TL1,480 for EFRAR 2018, supporting Tulips, supporting people with cancer.
The show took place on Saturday 26th August at The Venue Restaurant in Esentepe and was one of the best shows they have done so far. In addition to the normal Abnormals’ cast there were guest appearances by local tourists including Mark Matthews who managed to look and sound remarkably like Rod Stewart.
As usual, the Abnormals took every opportunity to raise money for Tulips. The raffle was well supported and two of the cast, Katie Bell and Andy Cooper, dressed as belly dancers, persuaded many in the audience to slip Turkish Lira notes into their costumes.

There was an extra opportunity to enjoy the fun and raise additional money as Clarisse Cooper collected donations for Martin Ford and Martin Foster to have their heads shaved by Annette McCloskey. It raised over TL600 and, although the guys won't need to buy shampoo for a couple of weeks, they were delighted with the response.
EFRAR 2018 Chairwoman, Mary Watson, commented: “I cannot express enough, our thanks to The Abnormals. They are special people who continue to put on shows with incredible enthusiasm and determination to raise money for a charity that is so important to them.”
