Cıcadas....noısy bloody thıngs

Seem to be extra noısy thıs year !!! Just been reading about them,it ıs just the males who make the chirping sound.Also the females are especially nice to eat !!!! But if İ find the females and cook,less for the randy males to mate with.Ah well,roll on sunset for some peace

There are loads of them this year presumably as a result of not spraying for mossies est all

We have had more spraying done this year than ever before but it does not affect them it seems.
