Re: Chain saw repair
There is a guy who specialises in Garden machinery repairs, speaks very good English, his name is Mustapha.
His workshop is in Karakum, opposite the electrical shop in Karkcum, there is a small turning on the left when travelling from the West side, go down there you will see his workshop on the left. He is cheap as chips too.
Call me if you need further directions. 0533 876 2204.

Thanks for info. Which electrical shop do you mean? Does it have a name?

Re: Chain saw repair
its on a row of shops, there is a restaurant called the Red Ribbon I think? The electrical shop is at the other end of the four shops. Begins with an A , go past the KAR shop (glad rags) on the left, bit further on on the left you will see the electrical shop, opposite there on the other side you will see the road between the shops.

Hi Mollie,
Thank you for posting the information - I think that I might have a couple of jobs for this guy as well!
I know the Electrical shop that you mean - Acdinç Electronics, isn't it? and the Red Ribbon used to be Stroll Inn.
Did the left-hand side end shop opposite use to be Sydney Construction?
So, if I've got my bearings right, we're talking about the gap at the right-hand end of the block opposite, not a proper road as such, just the access to the rear of that block and whatever is behind it?
Sorry for asking for more clarification, but I do like to be sure that I know where I'm heading before I set off!

Re: Chain saw repair
Went to get saw repaired by the man opposite the red ribbon cafe last week but he appears to have moved as the workshop was closed up. Does anyone please have any info about him? Has he moved or stopped doing repairs? Where is there an alternative please?
