Feeding roses

What's the best fertiliser to use on Cyprus roses as my climbing roses in pots have yellows leaves and it's not too much water.
terry2366, have you checked your roses for an infestaion of aphids, in this case black fly? I've had to spray mine twice already and its possible they may have transmitted a virus to the plant. If they have it should be short lived and they should grow out of it but a feed may help. Others may have differing opinions but I was led to believe bone meal was good for rosesbof course thats a long term solution. I would use something cheap and cheerful from the likes of China Bazzar or Mr Pound similar to what is recommended for vegetables for a quick fix.
