Accommodation at Karpaz
Hi All
Got someone coming out in October and we want to go to the Karpaz. Can anybody recommend accommodation there? It will have to be air conditioned as he cannot survive in the heat without somewhere air conned to escape to.
Thank you.

Re: Accommodation at Karpaz
We stay at the The Malibu Hotel, a bit tired but position right on the beach more than makes up for it. Prices around 140tl for DBB for 2. We prefer BB which costs around 120tl. The restaurant is not A la Carte but lots of places to eat around including Hemingways at the new marina just down the road.

Re: Accommodation at Karpaz
I will put a list here later today. I recommend staying in Dipkarpaz as you have a good choice of places and several lovely beaches near by, several eateries within walking distance.
If you want to call me 0533 820 6798. I live here and am happy to help.
Just have to rush off now

Re: Accommodation at Karpaz
I have stayed at Oasis, Balci Plaza, Villa Carparis & Arch Houses. All great places to stay & all different. Villa Car Paris & Arch Houses are in Dipkarpaz, with restaurant within walking distance. Villa Car Paris lovely accommodation & Arch Houses more rustic but still lovely. Oasis right on beach, no air con but sea breeze. Fab setting. Balci Plaza just outside Yenierenkoy, again near beach & spacious accommodation . Take your pick. I will be going back to Arch Houses this October as restaurant literally next door.

Re: Accommodation at Karpaz
Does anyone know if any of these hotels/guest houses take dogs? We heard there was one somewhere. We have two daxies, one would be safe in the car overnight, but one would eat it! He would need to be with us in his own bed!

Grat information for us all. I didn't realise there were so many places to stay. However, does your friend really need A/C in October

Re: Accommodation at Karpaz
@ mamchina. Oasis Hotel take dogs, myself and 2 other couples took our dogs. No AC though, but the rooms are on the beach, so in October you wont need A/C. The room is clean but basic, there is a plug in fan, not a ceiling fan, fly screen so you can open your windows, the toilets and showers and not part of your room. Breakfast is great and included in the price. They give it the name Hotel, but its not what I would consider a hotel. Its a row of joined rooms. Very friendly place, I would go back but not in the Summer.

Re: Accommodation at Karpaz
There are 2 rooms at Oasis up on the hill where you have ensuite facilities. You pay a little more but worth it as no noise & just the sound of the water below.

Thanks everyone, loads to choose from! Just hope the dogs behave - hopefully by second half of Sept wont be too hot, so if no AC wont matter!!
