Re: Lords Hotel Christmas Lunch.
Did they have whole fresh turkey, sliced and served "carvery" style?
Would also be interested to know the price for consideration next year.
Thanks.

Re: Lords Hotel Christmas Lunch.
Yes, whole fresh turkey carved in front of you.FRESH brussell sprouts and lots of other fresh veg. Racks of lamb ,again carved in front of you, pink or well done. The buffet included hot and cold starters, vegetarian.I tasted a nice hot octopus dish served in an orange. There were pasta main course dishes and fish. The sweet selection was beautiful and comprehensive,Xmas pudding, stollen, creme brulee plus cakes and cheesecakes, inaddition there was fresh fruit all displayed around a gingerbread house. After eights served with the coffee. All drinks were included , described as 'local but actaully were not.J&B , Finlandia etc .A kir royale was served on arrival. Service very attentive , staff singing along to some of the music. Cost £32 for adults £16 for children . And then they also gave you a pretty card entitling you to a free
afternoon tea . A great afternoon and a fantastic price. My name is down for next year!

Thanks for the comprehensive feedback.
Sounds better than most other venues.
Since my wife is a Veggie we may well give it go next year.

Love Lords Palace. We have coffee and lunch there regularly. One of my favourite venues and think the Christmas buffet may well be an option next year for a change.
