Burhan's Hotel - the new place in the Karpaz
https://www.facebook.com/burhanshotel/v ... 194709418/
We have been friends with Burhan for 20 years and used to love going down to Golden Beach.
After the 'Great Destruction' of all the places there, we wondered if he could do it again. But against all odds including a total corona quarantine of the Dipkarpaz area he fought his way back up. We should not have had any doubts. He has created an amazing place, entirely different from before, but stunning!!
It is set on a small hill top, were you can see the most spectacular sunrises. A totally different setting, with absolutely stunning views, surrounded by beautiful countryside and only a few minutes drive away from Golden beach!! The hotel has a wonderful swimming pool and a few meters down to the sea you will find a little beach.
Above is a little video I pinched from their FB page
If you want to know more, here is his web page, I'm also checking with Soner about advertising on here.
My friend Pakize, who speaks good English is happy to answer any questions you have - Tel. 00905338641051

Re: Burhan's Hotel - the new place in the Karpaz
We have stayed at Burhans on Golden Beach a few times in the past and it was idyllic. So when it was all removed it was a real dissapointment.
However; last year when staying up the Karpas we called in to see the new development which was nearly completed. The rooms were just being fitted out with furniture and they looked great. We were given the full tour by Burhan, who remembered us from previous stays. It’s a great place, set up on a hill with great views out to sea. When we return to North Cyprus we will be looking to book in.

Re: Burhan's Hotel - the new place in the Karpaz
The first time we came to TRNC in 2011, our friends took us from Girne to (among other places) the Apostolos Andreas Monastery, followed by a visit to an aunt in İnönü - the whole of the Karpaz was incredible, and we stopped at the Golden Beach in the course of our wandering. Although it might be a little "further out", the Karpaz is not a place to be missed - best of luck to Burhan! (As long as the visitors don't spoil it!)

Is there any other place that is still on the beach like the original burhans? Stayed in the huts With my dog and loved it. It was so rustic and the donkeys just hung out right outside.

Looks really nice and would be tempted but can not find any prices anywhere on the web site - are they secret?

Hi All
We are going next week, we live in Esentepe - is it best up the north coast road or go over the mountain to Gecitkale roundabout where the garage is, turn left and head up the south coast.
Thanks in advance

Re: Burhan's Hotel - the new place in the Karpaz
I have only ever taken the North coastal road and find it a very relaxing drive, once past the roundabout. Always go over the mountain for trips to Dhekalia, straight over the big roundabout with petrol station on the left and often wondered where the road off to the left went. Must try that one day, love getting lost here - lol.

Unfortunately you cannot book for just one night - the minimum stay is two nights, that is €160 before buying any lunch and evening meal on top of that. Guess that makes a spend of about €260. Shame, we only wanted one night this time.Mollie the cat wrote: ↑Tue 16 Jun 2020 9:10 amI clicked on the room section, it says 2 people B and B 80 euros,

Fingers crossed they may start to do a one night option, I'd also like one night.

I just got the information. It is only when you book to stay on a Saturday that you have to book for two nights.
Sunday to Friday you can make one night bookings. I checked this out with Pakize, who deals with the bookings. She speaks good English and is very helpful

Thank you for that.
I guess we will phone her because the web page will not let you book one night at any time!
Thanks anyway.
