Hotels in the Karpaz - Any recent hotel recommendations?
Hi, I have friends coming out in August who would like to vist the Karpaz.
Has anyone, recent, good quality hotel accomodation recommendations and if possible links to the Hotel site I can send to my friends so they can book as soon as possible.
We have only stayed in one place before and could not recommend it to anyone!!
Lovely beach but the Hotel and Food were not good at all.

I recently stayed at The Blue Sea Hotel near Dipkarpaz. Lovely place, very friendly staff, good food and nice little sandy beach. Sits right on the edge of a fishing harbour. Definitely recommend it. If you look a the hotel section of this forum you will find my comments (and others too). Also contact details.
Have a great time.

Having Stayed over the years at most of the Hotels in Karpaz and having recently returned with my Family from Karpaz , I can not praise enough Villa Lembos in Dikkarpaz which shone way above all the rest in terms of cleanliness comfort and hospitality and only moments away from the Beach . I enclose there contact details http://www.villalembos.com 0392 372 2027.
Wishing you a good trip !

We have been staying for years at the Balci Plaza just beyond Yeni Erenkoy. Hasan Balci is a fantastic host, private beach, AC in rooms (basic but spotlessly clean), good food. http://www.balciplaza.com. Also takes our dogs....

I recommend Glaro Garden.
Their rooms are lovely, comfortable and traditional looking(with AC), set in a lovely garden. we have sent friends there and they loved it.
Their food is wonderful, most grown in their garden or by their family. Wonderful dinners, meze just a bit different from the usual run of the mill, fabulous salads and always a desert. You can phone beforehand and request any dishes you like. Last time we went, we even had a whole roast chicken, the first for us here in the Karpaz.
They do not sell alcohol but are very happy for you do bring your own, or they will go to the shop for you. What you don't finish you take home. There is no 'corkage' charge.
Telephone 05338301586 Olga speaks Russian and English, some Turkish
05338810161 Murat speaks English and German and of course Turkish
website:http://www.glarogarden.com
There is a map on the website to help you find it as well as various signs along the road
