Sterling ATMs

Occasionally enquiries are made on the forum about ATMs that issue sterling. The list below has been pulled together but is by no means a definative list. In some cases the location of the ATM is given. Please note that the bank ATM provider may charge for withdrawals or depending on your UK bank, they may also charge. Some ATMs may have run out of sterling at certain times.

Just been to cw and only TL. Came to garanti in town instead.
At least parking n on a Sunday makes it possible

As a matter of interest are the instructions in English at the Garanti ATM?

English is ok on Geranti, I always use the one near 1001 shop in town, also Lemar at Karakum not Geranti but the one with it I can't remember the bank it is but there has always been GBP in it also English language available.

The petrol station ATM nearly opposite Deniz Kizi and Starling on the same side of road (left going west) also give sterling.

Thanks for that Rocking. Very helpful indeed. my husband insists that we draw sterling and it is inc reasingly difficult to find anywhere that also gives parking. That spot is a grea tone. Thanks again.

Hi, we are coming to Girne next month. Can anybody advise on the latest situation re location of ATM's dispensing £ sterling. We used to use HSBC but understand they have now closed. Many thanks

Basically Garanti & TEB.

When they run out of Sterling, you won't see the option. ..

There is another thread running, you can use the 'search' box at the top of the page to find it.

Is Bank atm machines also often have a Sterling withdraw option. Not always but often.
