Transferring GBP to UK

What’s the cheapest way to transfer GBP to the UK? Universal bank want .4% plus and admin fee of £11.80. Didn’t know if there was a cheaper way. Thanks for any advice.

You could always offer it to Kibkom'ers? I am sure that a lot of people would want to buy sterling from you and make a sterling transfer £ to your UK bank.

i,e I would like to buy £2k cash. I then transfer £2k from my UK bank to your UK bank and once transfer is complete you give me £2K cash. Just an example!

Thanks for your replies.
I don’t live in TRNC so would have to do a local bank transfer. Will check with Universal if there is any charge for this.
