Sending GB £ to the UK
Can anyone suggest the better way of transferring £ back to the UK from a bank in Girne please
Does anyone have recent experience of doing this by different methods?
Thank you

Best way, find someone doing the reverse and off-load it as they pay equivalent into your UK account.

Re: Sending GB £ to the UK
If you can't find someone to "swap" with I have just transferred a little over £103,00 to the UK for a friend and it cost £321 via AS Bank.
Considering the charges we are paying at cashpoints at the moment that didn't seem bad.
Maybe we should set up a swap scheme, to save people the cost of withdrawing from cashpoints too?? Just a thought.

Thank you Catlover that's rather inexpensive compared to using the cashpoint machines. Bet the revenue were over them like a rash with that amount of money landing in their account in one lump sum
