Gates it may be different with your bank, but the Iban is usually unique to your account if you ask your bank they will give it to you. That's how I got mine from my bank. It usually contains your account details which is how the money finds you.

Mrsgee. That is correct, if the money goes direct to your account. In mine and gates case it has to go through the intermediary bank so the IBAN for that account will be the same ie if we both bank with Limassol for instance. The IBAN number is for Limassol's account in Vakiflar Bankasi in TR, then from there it goes onward to our account. This has been the problem all along.
