bus from Alsancak to Lefkosa

Hi. We want to go by bus or Dolmus from Alsancak to Lefkosa,we assume that we have to go to Girne first,can any one tell us where to catch the bus. Thanks

Yes Andrew is right. You catch the bus from opp the car park/post office in Girne. There is a man who sells the tickets there. They cost 7 or 8 tl return. He will tell you which bus to get on. It takes you to Girne kapisi. (Kyrenia gate) Thats usually the last stop and everyone gets off. You catch the bus back at the same place more or less. There is a man there sometimes who will help you get on the right bus back to Girne. The bus will usually have Girne-Lefkosa on the front and back. I think they run every 20 - 30 minutes. Last bus back to Girne is around 6pm, Maybe later as its summer
