We are looking at having a weeks holiday in Antalya in February and understand you can get some good deals. Can anyone recommend where we could stay? And do you book direct with the hotel or through a website / travel agent ?

I can recommend 2 hotels in Antalya. The first bieing Oscar Boutique Hotel which is just outside the old town and only a few minutes walk to central Antalya, close to trams and buses. Beautiful hotel down a narrow side street but opens up into a lovely courtyard with a pool/restaurant. Secondly totally different a 5* Ultra All Inclusive called Kervansaray in Lara Beach, wonderful hotel excellent food in the heart of Lara Beach but just a1/2 hour bus ride into central Antalya. Booked both via assorted booking agents and flight seperatly, both excellent hotels but depends on what you require. Both less than £10 taxi ride from the airport

We stayed in the Tuvana Hotel in the old quarter - 5 min walk to the harbour. A beautiful place, fantastic restaurant, which is well known for a place to eat in Antalya. Room great and service wonderful. Actually they found out it was my birthday treat and upgraded us to a suite FOC!! Well recommended.

Kaleci is the name of the the old part of Antalya lists of hotels nice place to just amble around loads of reasturants for different budgets if you type in kaleci on booking.com you will be able to see a variety of hotels and you can either book through them direct with the hotel or with an agent whatever you are comfortable with .

We also stayed in Tuvana Hotel. Absolutely fantastic and right in the middle of all you want to see. They have a fabulous restaurant too. Enjoy
