Here is our latest / last video for now of our time in Hotel Quarantine incase anyone would like to know what sort of things to expect if you travel to Cyprus. We were not disappointed at all and we felt everything was made as comfortable as possible!

Perhaps a bit late, but "pop-rivet" gun - snug-fit (strong) metal tubing over handles to give longer handles/more leverage? To paraphrase Archimedes: “Give me a lever long enough and I'll fix anything..."

Lol yes I do think we need to invest in a better riviter!! Hopefully that was the last time we needed one

We are in Lanzarote & we meet up with friends and family! We then head to Fuerteventura enjoying our last days at anchor before heading to Las Palmas in Gran Canaria to meet the Arc and get ready for our two crossings with them!!

Hi Everyone!! Thank you so much for all your lovely messages! The journey was a little crazy but we're so glad we came across the boat and were in the right place at the right time!! Sorry for the delay in response, we're still a little tired and just starting to get settled again!

We just want to clarify that we were safety conscious and made sure we were harnessed on and wearing life jackets when we had to change sails at night or during high seas and also when we were dealing with issues with the dismasted boat. We also made the guy on the boat put his life jacket on also as him falling in without one would have been another issue we could do without! The clip uploaded was 15 seconds before the line snapped, Ceylan was trying to get some sleep (hence the pink unicorn PJ's ) and the rest of the crew were in the saloon on watch in the complete safety of the boat. Once line line snapped, we had put our engines in neutral to avoid the rope getting stuck around the prop, pulled the ropes in and put on our life jackets on! Then we went back to reattach the tow.

We've documented everything and will try and get everyone up to speed soon! We haven't managed to make a video this week but once we get our bodies and brains back to normal we will try and make more videos to catch everyone up quicker!

We had a fantastic start to our sail across the Atlantic ..apart from the wind being becalmed a few times!! But Ceylan takes the record for catching the biggest fish. It was so powerful that we needed to help her reel it in!

Our sail across the Atlantic Ocean continues. We were on the home straight, everything was going smooth and then it happened..... We spotted a single handed French sailor LOST AT SEA. Having being stranded at sea for 3 weeks and dismasted for 3 days with no engine, we spotted his dismasted yacht being thrown around by the fierce swell of the Atlantic.

In part 1 you saw us establish a tow with the stranded vessel and then.... SNAP the tow line broke which then became a regular occurrence.
