Refunds for cancelled flights.

Just to make you aware.
Booked flights with turkish/anadolujet in March for July this year.
Just got my full refund less 63 pounds sterling.
Paid in sterling but refunded what the equivalent was in March. With the rate going up I lost the difference. If you paid in tl then that's what you got . I expected to be refunded the sterling ... Obviously not.

Were you going from Cyprus to UK? I had my refund in full in GBP for my May flights, can’t remember when I booked them though, but going from UK to Cyprus.

Sleight of hand, I bet that if the Lira had strengthened against Sterling you'd still be out of pocket! Contact your credit card company and ask for a charge-back, with evidence of all emails and trace copies of mid-bank rate of the day of purchase. They will probably refuse so issue a CC J against them; a little money up-front for you to instigate but all expenses will be reimbursed on a successful outcome which THY will not contest.

Changed our flights from 13th August to 20th August with Turkish Airlines.

Within 4 days received a refund on price difference of flights

Now what to do with that spare cash ............................... £1.40 ( paid into my bank by two 70p installments lol )

'Resolver' is very good and credible.
I forgot on my previous post that a CC J has a minimum level of reimbursement of fraudulent taken monies to be recovered, ditto with the 'smalls claim court'

Resolver best next action though do have paperwork on hand.
