We went to the Alagadi beach today for a swim , the sea was cloudy and with a lot of rubbish in it, plastic etc. Last year we went there too and could not swim , the same reason.

I remember in the previous years there were articles in CT about our beaches , with blue flags, not recently.

I like a clean sea and a sandy beach, preferably free of charge.

Where do you go for a swim?

We live in Karaoglanoglu.

The Belediye Beach at Kervanseray is very well looked after.

Unfortunately Cyprus suffers from being in the Eastern corner of the Med, as the prevailing Westerly wind gently ushers all the crap from the rest of the Med in our direction!

Shayna beach

Our regular spot is Shayna beach, however we do often trek east for a good few miles and also west where we have found a couple of nice quiet beaches.
