Has anyone used a Primecard credit card to hire a car in the UK.

It is a Mastercard, just wondering if car hire company will accept it, we don't have UK credit card anymore after moving to North Cyprus.

Hopefully it will be ok, we have paid for car hire but now need to give them a credit card as security.

Unfortunately due to circumstances we can't get a train this time.

As long as it has a high enough credit limit to cover the deposit and that credit is unused then it shouldn't be a problem. I've used my TC bank credit card for car hire in various countries outside TRNC. Might be worth letting the credit card company know when you are going to UK and the amount of the deposit so they don't block your card.
