Just for information, Video is about how Countries are going to deal with the after affects of the Pandemic and how to get Tourists back. Cyprus, Turkey and Greece hoping to open their doors in the Summer.

I think anything that can rescue from this year is a bonus and I don't think all businesses that cater mainly to tourists will survive.
Hopefully most can weather the storm and come back and make 2021 a great year for them

The general message in U.K. is not to take a holiday this year. Agree tourism will not get back at least until next year even talk of 2023. Ok these destinations saying they will open, but will have to marry up with aeroplanes getting them there. Think prices will double even treble. Just another company Norwegian Air, although suffering for a while is looking like it will shrink its capacity, with the Norwegian government taking it over. They were used by TUI, so knock on affect.

The thing is most people's incomes will be taking a hit with 80% wages for a few months so the extra that is in people's budgets for holidays won't be there for a while.
The only thing that might save some is there does seem to be a bit of an oversupply with plans to open more hotels etc so if a few do unfortunately go to the wall the survivors might get more trade than they would have done.
Next year fingers crossed for them but 2023 might be more realistic tbh

Hi planning to go back to Cyprus soon.
What's the situation at the moment?

Any signs of vacation life?

Its very much take care of yourself. Masks inside shops, also temperature checks.

Most of the population sticking to the rules, one or two not. No where near as bad as other countries, lets hope it stays that way!
