Are there any TV systems in this country that do not buffer? I am with Multimax for our internet and as of tonight the speed is reasonable.

I am currently using a fire stick which is crap!

We have a TV system from Paul at Satellite Cyprus. It seldom buffers and is generally very good. Any problems either Paul or (more usually) Gwyn are at the end of the phone. However it is not cheap at £30 per month but so far as the TV watcher in our house is concerned it is well worth the money. Obviously IPTV can only be as good as the internet allows but as Paul and Gwyn deal with our Extend internet as well all is good.

Can confirm that the system from Satellite Cyprus is very reliable....and there is the added convenience of 14 days CatchUp on many channels.

Much of the problems depend on what you are watching and where from. Internet speed needs to be above 4mbps to watch anything really and even then buffering sometimes is due to the provider of the stream. Firestick is generally quite good for us but it does have it's quirks and limitations. There are a number of tweaks you can do to make the Firestick more reliable. I follow this Guy and his hints and tricks are simple enough to follow and normally produce good results.

£30's a month is extortionate, quite literally day light robbery. Private servers with catch up, a controlled membership and thousands of movies on demand are available for £10's a month, with exceptional service.

Fortunately we are all able to make our choices. If we're happy spending £30 a month it doesn't matter if someone else thinks it's extortionate.

Thread is now a few weeks old and the OP was grateful for those replies at the time, but to add (and be slightly pedantic) satellite TV (NOT IP/"internet" TV) is available - if you get a dish and a satellite tuner. Unfortunately, satellites that can be tuned into are not those available in the UK, so BBC/ITV/Sky and the rest can't be got - there ARE a (very) few english-speaking channels that can be found - but you won't get any buffering! ;-)
