Amazon fire stick?

We have a minex box which usually gives us the Uk tv but suddenly BBC has blocked and despite trying to reboot several times still no BBC. Apparently the BBC are trying to block users outside UK from streaming iplayer even through a vpn, so we wondered if an amazon fire stick works here? Any advice gratefully received.

Can't help regarding Firestick. However many of us are using smartdns rather than vpn to watch BBC and other UK channels, which doesn't slow down internet as vpn can, and touch wood, seem to be working well. Been using it for almost 2 years. I use https://www.smartdnsproxy.com/ others use Streamvia.

I think Yen has a limited supply of Firesticks at the moment . We have no problems with ours at the moment .

Don't forget many smart tv's are capable of receiving catch up UK tv and as others have said an efficient DNS will allow you to watch them. I can use my firestick to access them but choose not to and use the tv instead as it frees up memory on the firestick for other APK's.
