Blue Door, Alsancak

Our group of five enjoyed a fantastic evening meal at the Blue Door restaurant in Alsancak. Just past Atakara supermarket, same side. Lovely setting, good service, delicious food and reasonable prices. I hope others try this restaurant and have a similar experience.

I have to agree. You are made to feel very welcome and the food is very reasonable and excellent. My husband had the pork chop (40tl) which was enormous and my fish kebab was so tasty (45tl). We will certainly be going back.

went last night.
we both had the pork chops. Warned in advance they are large! so succulent and we both didnt want the meal to finish.
lovely starters and then couldnt resist apple pie to end.
service good and friendly with well chosen background music.
Our chef, who we knew from cafe cafe at lapta, came out at the end to speak to everyone.
we went to cafe cafe 2 nights ago and were so disappointed to see it closed. we used to go for the adana and chicken kebabs. Luckily they are on the menu at blue door so will be back soon.

We had a great meal there back in the spring - will definitely be going back
