Has anyone been to the Sartaj Indian Restaurant on the main road Catalkoy area.

Just looking to try out an Indian not to far from home.

That`s Khan, who has been about for years from various other local eateries, returned to Pakistan but came back and more then welcome.
Super bloke,you may well recognise him, has always done a decent curry.

Excellent place and IMHO one of, if not the, best places in terms of quality of Indian food here.

Went there for lunch today and though there were only two of us in the restaurant the food as always was beautifully freshly prepared. That’s what has always impressed me there - everything always seems so fresh, even down to the excellent “dips” served with starters. The raita and mango chutney (with a subtle hint of fresh ginger) are to die for.

Highly recommended and Mr Khan himself couldn’t be nicer.

Well worth a visit. It's used by the Catalkoy Curry Club think they might know!!!

Excellent food and very attentive staff. If you like hot curries, I strongly recommend the butter chicken, ask for extra hot. Best curry I've had here.
