Merymans Hotel afternoon tea
Just been with friends to the Merymans for afternoon tea, it was delicious, all you would expect from a first class restaurant tea. Only one small thing, 3 of us had one pot of tea which served 2 cups of tea, but on the plus side, they filled it up on request Several times. Martin that used to be at Stone Cavern is the chef, whilst talking to him he asked our name as three parties had booked and only us turned up. This is so rude, he cooked mini beef Wellingtons as well as scones, truffles and delicious cake and meringues, and would have wasted the other orders, no establishment deserves this but it is so common these days, and I am sorry to say mainly Brits.

It's so rude isn't it. People are just totally lacking in manners.
We were at a restaurant a few weeks ago-they had a big table laid out for 12 people-it was a birthday party-not one person turned up.

I have no idea, they did take my number, but what can they do, call them then what if they say oh I meant phone you etc, it doesn't help the fact they had prepared food especially?
