Their Sunday lunches are very good, loads of veg cooked just right and served hot with all the appropriate trimmings by friendly and efficient hosts.

Ooh and pork crackling too.... best to book a slot 1 - 5pm.

I second that! I had a cracking Sunday Roast at the Grease Monkey yesterday. A real feast!

Take it slow, there is no pressure to finish up... plus, I couldn't - there was so much.. ((W\))

That's a sign of good manners you know Groucho (at least so my old Ma said) It was to let your host/hostess know they had supplied an ample sufficiency.

Looks amazingly similar to all the Pakistani restaurants Sunday lunches. Try Al Shaheen they don’t hide the lack of meat by a second Yorkshire pud.

It's quality not quantity that matters. I've had many a Sunday lunch in various places, including Al Shaheen, and in my opinion Grease Monkey's is one of the best. My husband is a very good cook but every now and then he deserves a day off, GM has been the closest to home cooked.

Old dug, said Looks amazingly similar to all the Pakistani restaurants Sunday lunches. Try Al Shaheen they don’t hide the lack of meat by a second Yorkshire pud.

The 2 Yorkshire puddings are on the opposite side of the plate, not hiding anything, plus you don’t get Pork in Any Pakistani Restaurant, If you don’t try , you will never know, how good it is , Traditional Sunday Roast , No Onion bhaji or curry on the menu, No comparison really.
