Riverside restaurant
My hubby called in at Riverside today and found it was closed, all tables and chairs stacked away, does anyone know what is happening with it.

That’s a shame. It started off so well, lovely position good service and food. But something changed, not been back for a while.

Re: Riverside restaurant
As I understand it, the whole Riverside Hotel and Beach area closed down a couple of weeks or so back. BUT there was talk that Riverside might open again as a quarantine hotel, but I have no definite knowledge whatsoever. A trip out there would probably be necessary to ascertain the truth, one way or another.

Re: Riverside restaurant
The hotel is sold as having a beach available so they built this mainly for there hotel guests
No guests so the inevitable happened.
Maybe next year.

Re: Riverside restaurant
Apparently when they opened they only took out a drinks licence until the end of August, and therein lies the problem. I got this info secondhand so I know no further details.
