Idyllic holiday retreat, for rent in rural North Cyprus
Available for long term let, our lovely restored Cypriot two storey village house with wooden balcony.

The property has been sympathetically restored using traditional materials and techniques and is situated about 40 miles west of Kyrenia in the small village of Baglikoy, which is in the foothills of the Troodos mountains.

The accomodation comprises of :-
Two double bedrooms with ensuite shower room, w/c and hand basin
kitchen diner
Sitting room
Balcony terrace
Wooden balcony
Small garden

The village of Baglikoy has recently been declared an Eco village by the government, the views are splendid and very much unspoilt and would really suit someone who loves rural life, nature lover or an artist. The village is very tranquile, with very little traffic.

We are looking to rent the property for a minimum of 1 year but would be happy to rent for a longer period.

We are looking for £200 / per month rent.

As I don't drive, is there a local bus service, if so, is it regular and where does it go?

There is a bus service in the area from the small town of Gemikonagi, which is situated below Baglikoy, next to the sea. The buses run to Lefke, Guzelyurt, Nicosia. You can change at Guzelyurt and take another bus to Kyrenia, Farmagusta basically any where you need to travel to.
There is a bus service to and from the village but only once a day. This is rural Cyprus where the pace of life has remained very slow. Taxis are also available in Gemikonagi.
