My Sri Lankan friend wants to come over for a visit, but even though Sri Lanka is on the list for e visas she has been told she can only come if I get a visit visa for her. Is this true and if so what paperwork do I need to get and where do I need to go to get the visa? I don't understand why she can't get an e visa. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Jane M

As long as she can prove that she has enough money to support herself whilst here (not intending to secure employment), No visa is required for entry via Ercan , Only Nigerian and Armenian passport holders need Visas.
Is she perhaps getting mixed up with the South ?
