South to north is not good either. You need all sorts of paper work. Don't know why you say there is no problem.

South to North - it is permitted for pets transiting. via LCA/PFS, from UK and other Countries with a final destination in TRNC. Yes there is paperwork needed and the entry requirements for both South and North have to be complied with - if they are then there is not usually any problem. It is something that KAR Pet Travel and their South colleagues do between them on a regular basis - for some dogs it may be the only possible route (due to their breed or size for example).
In the past some residents of South Cyprus have relocated to the North and their pets have been granted TRNC entry (with all of the correct paperwork and entry criteria met) - however this (relocating South residents pets) may not possible in the very near future.
North to South for any reason is NOT permitted and anyone caught can face prosecution and their pet be destroyed.
