A neighbour and ourselves have this morning had a visit from Lapta Zapida telling us we have to get rid of some of our dogs as we have too many. We understand the complaint was made by (Moderator edited) our unpleasant foul mouthed neighbour. I know this sort of thing happened last year in Alsancak and after a public meeting where a lawyer helped, we would be grateful of any assistance. We intend trying to get a report from the police on the fact that he assaulted my husband last year and will take this to the Zapida I know some of his Cypriot neighbours also think he is a thoroughly unpleasant person and will try to enlist their help

Give them a chance - they've got dogs to walk!

Maybe a phone call to KAR could help clarify what is legal

Ignore them, as you say it happened in Alsancak last year, a lot of fuss was created and the mayor deemed it was all a misunderstanding and if you already had the dogs then you can keep them.

I think the worst bit is the absolute unpleasantness of the neighbour and the appalling language he has used to my other neighbour,we have spoken too KAR and had some legal advice offered to us for which we are very grateful.
