Be ultra-cautious with your selection. I recall a few years ago here in the TRNC where a 'pet sitter' sold the animals . You just might have more peace of mind if the pets are in 'registered' and recommended kennels.

I would also like to add that there are several very well known reliable, honest sitters. I'm sure they will supply references, I have already put these forward to people I know. I'm just not sure of the area of first poster.
