Just got back from Sardunya beach bar, 26 tl for a pint and a half of Efes. A little expensive possibly, 14 tl per pint , 12 tl half pint, plus new bar staff were a little impolite, no please no thank you! When the tourists go home , ill still be here looking for a place to have a beer.

£1.82 a pint. Doesn’t sound too unreasonable.

Wouldn’t bother with the half for 12 mind.

Already a clear favourite for the residents' beer tokens is the Roadhouse in Alsancak 12tl for Budweiser draught, beat that!

I could not imagine leaving a beautiful beachside bar for the sake of 2tl and replacing it with a busy dusty dirty main road (:()) (:()) ((/))

The local bars and restaurants will need to be very careful in the coming weeks.
Some people are desperate to go out and the bars and restaurants should get a bit of a bounce but if they attempt to top up their prices in an understandable attempt to make up lost revenue they might come unstuck.
People have got very used to paying supermarket prices and staying indoors and might well compromise re safety with having a few people over rather than meeting up in a bar.

Not sure about the relative safety of bar over home... bar=strangers, home=known entity.

That’s what I attempted (badly) to say. Would you go to a bar to see 4 friends or invite them over now. Why increase your risk if you are nervous over the virus. Mix with 4 or 40? You might miss out on someone murdering an Eric Clapton number but I guess you could put the original on the stereo?
