Hi,yes to both your questions. Olaytrans. 039223653430. [email protected]. We & family have used them three times in past two+ years. Lost nothing yet & always collected/ delivered both ends as agreed. They have shipped both furniture & boxes. They use Greens Removals in UK. If you use them or others, make sure you pay a little extra for insurance just in case it's total loss.

At this very moment of typing we have Olaytrans here at our villa packing our belongings and up till now everything is going smoothly arrived when they said they would. They will supply all the necessary materials and labour for you and arrange total loss insurance, no TRNC insurance companies will insure individual items.

Whatever you do - do not use Dolphin. Their staff in Girne are fine but the companyt itself is worse than useless. I used them for my move to Spain and it took them 12 weeks to deliver!

All the numbered boxes were delivered but lots of stuff missing......odd that.

Becker you say that you and friends have used Olaytrans and they were very good. Was that transfering from UK to TRNC or TRNC to UK or both? Trying to ascertain if the staff in TRNC are as good as staff in UK.

Can anyone give me an idea of costs ie for 400kgs or 4 cubic meters ? How do they measure? An unknown quantity for us at the moment which is why I wanted some idea before contacting them. We may even just sell things here rather than taking them back to UK. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

What's the latest feeling of shipping companies for possessions back to the UK?

I've read some horror stories on here, but some feedback is a little old. What seems to be the most reliable movers at the moment?

It doesn't matter if it takes a little while to get here, but I would like to get the ball rolling soon.

It's 10 boxes of similar volume to banana boxes, including a few dustbins used as packing boxes. Potentially there could be a couple more depending on price.

Each box is probably 6-10kg each, so say up to 100kg total. About 4 cubic meters.

Everything is packed and ready to go.

Thanks

Hi

Does anyone know contact details of a transportation company, except Greens Removals/Olaytrans, that could help with move from UK to TRNC?

Thanks

Unfortunately, my father in law has recently used them and had an awful experience with them. A disaster for breakages and cost a fortune.
