Can anyone recommend a man with a van? I’ve heard of Arif but not a lot of good things.

I have used Arif for goods transportation between UK and here for ten or more years, at least a couple of times each year, without problem. Everything I have sent from or to the UK has arrived in the condition it left me. Yes, I have to be patient and wait for delivery or collection - this is not a DHL type service. Appreciate my experiences may not be matched by some others.

Goods are transported in a container, or containers, the full length ones, so size of your shipment need is not really an issue. I have been with Arif to the shipping agents in London earlier this year so know what I am talking about.

You really need to talk with Arif to discuss your specific shipment. I cannot give you a rough estimate on behalf of someone else. The charge to a regular and long standing customer may well be different to someone new, or perhaps the volume being shipped, or perhaps the weight, etc, may well have a variable bearing on the costs involved.

Best advice I can give is ensure you agree a delivered price before handing over your goods for shipment and if it doesn't feel right to you then don't do it.

Arif picked up 15 boxes for me today - will be arriving Lapta 25th March -
All seems good so far - will let you know
