Not So Servile After All.

An Iraqi man and his wife went on a trip to New York.

They were walking along a street with the wife, clothed in her burka, walking the customary several paces behind her husband. He stopped outside a shop and decided to go in whilst his wife waited outside.

A curious onlooker who had been watching them approached her and said to her 'Why do you walk behind your husband? This is America where men and women have equal rights, it makes you look like a Servant

She responded ' I am always happy to walk in this way - in case of Landmines!
