Removing lime from pool water

I use well water to top up my pool. The well water is rather hard and has lime in it in a very fine form (more or less in dissolved form). The sand filter doesn't remove it all. Endresult is a slightly "milky" pool water. Any ideas of a good method to solve the problem.
