I know there are a few variables but is there any rough amount water that evapourates in a 24 hour cycle this time of the year? The pool is a 5 X10 metre overflow.

It's not just the sun, also the wind can take your water, so I'm told.

Variables - water loss due to evaporation is proportional to:-

Windspeed
(night-time) temperature difference between water and air
Atmospheric pressure
Dew point
Humidity (inversely)

So, depending on your pool's location (exposure to wind, sun, etc) and the other factors, expect somewhere between 100 litres and 300 litres per day...

Do tbe 'bucket test' (google it) to determine the expected water level drop in millimetres at your location, and a simple piece of arithmetic will give you the answer for your particular pool / location...
