No idea of the cost. What make do you have already? It would be good to replace like with like so you do not have to mess around with the fitting. I would use Siba as they carry a lot of spares.

However a lot of the time new life can be breathed into them. Talk to Ozzie at Press Teknic near Freddies, Cafe des artistes.

I have 4 reconditioned ones, all different makes.1- is kripton 2- is calpeda (Italian),3- is astral
Other I can't remember off my head now
Anyhow, you're better off getting same make as the one you did have, for the porpuse of saving and bothering with re plumbing issues

I am in lapta,if you're local, feel free to come and see.....and of course try

Thank you everyone, very useful indeed.

Yorgozlu,
Thank you, I think mine is a calpeda? Its very old and the bearings are very noisy after our pool room flooded recently. I dried the pump out but the bearings look to have suffered, it does work though. I will contact you in the week, do you have a contact number please?

I bought one last year for a customer
I was advised several makes were better than what I purchased but the most difficult thing I found was getting the warranty in my customers name and not the pool company .
In the end we went with pooltech, near creditwest and lidl , Baras fitted the pump and tested it before it was handed over to the customer's pool team.
