One 230-240 Wp PV panel plus microinverter on a stand should be not more then 600-650 Euros, but with reliable equipment, like EUmade-PV panels and enecsys or enphase, not this china-crap.

hi eco free electric

From your website you have done over 20,000 installations. http://www.ecofreeelectric.com/about-us.html

Out of these, how many have you done in N Cyprus to date?

"We are a well-established Renewable Energy Company. We have been servicing local authorities, major housing developers and the domestic market nationwide in the UK for over 25 years. We have moved to Northern Cyprus. We employ our own highly skilled Roofers and Electricians, recently moved our Head Office to Kyrenia, Karakum to help us keep up with the growing demand. Our existing client base spans 15 countries with existing contracts with some of the country’s leading Construction Companies.

We currently have over 20,000 installations for satisfied clients and well over 18,000 domestic and commercial installations to date. In early 2011 we partnered with several construction companies and investors to install a complete “new build” housing estate with free solar PV funded by Eco Free Electric, providing huge savings for the house purchaser on their electricity, and allowing the developer to meet their targets on reducing their carbon emissions at no expense to themselves.

At Eco Free Electric we have over 10 dedicated field surveyors, 50 fully qualified electricians and roofers with a full Health and Safety and Risk Assessment Package with Insurance coverages."

Cyprus,
i believe you do not get a reply, because:
Ecofree stated somewehre that they use EU made panels, in other threads the grid rules are given and the price is given in this thread.
Anyway. We use, of course also EU made panels, and we, eg, can offer a plug and play kit incl 2 panels, 1 "double microinverter" plus a stand incl 2x2 meter alu rails, 2 middle- and 4 end clamps plus a AC connection cable for a 1000 euro.
Sometimes we have the one or the other "left over panel" for special prices, which you can use in "single" or "double" panel- microinverter systems as well. (this is "the beauty" in microinverter systems)
Please ask off board for proper systems in general or system enlargement and/or integration.

Seems like a lot of cash for a few watts.

Would need a long life expectancy to generate any return.

no, you are not right. a 1kWp system can produce say (conservative approx calculation) 1500 kWh per year = at eg, 20 eurocent = 300 Euro per year. Not a very long time to generate a return.
Life expectancy 25+ years for the panels, 15 to 25 for inverters.
