Help! unable to download torrents, is it my ISP?

Expert advice needed please;

For some reason having been away for a month I now cannot download programmes from various sites TVCUK , EZTV etc.

I've searched the net for answers and being the technophobe that I am cannot find any barring my ISP is for whatever reason blocking the torrents.

Any ideas?

When in TRNC I've had no problem (touch wood) accessing EZTV, Kickass, piratebay (various versions) etc., and my ISP is Nethouse. I use Tor browser which works perfectly for me, "home or away". However, here in the UK, my ISP is VirginMedia (formerly NTL) and I have to use Tor - I find the program/file/torrent I want, right-click, 'copy link location' and then use uTorrent to download - works (for me) with or without a vpn....

It's possibly your torrent client playing up. Have had this in the past and had to delete and reinstall, or change to another torrent client. Try Deluge or Qbittorrent.

Deleted torrent and now can't reinstall!!

Some files must have been left behind, you will need to completely uninstall all files connected to the torrent client. You don't mention what it is, which will help with an aid to complete removal. Google uninstall of whatever client it is for instructions.

Changed from chrome to edge now seems to be working OK!
