advice needed on internet

Hi. We have Internet in our living room where the router is but we'd like to have better reception internet (only have reception in one of the rooms in the other room it's very limited) upstairs as well. Can we link the two areas together or any suggestions how we can do it. Thanks in advance. Any help/ideas appreciated.

One way is to use a second router in the area you need to improve the internet and simply connect them together ( Ethernet) . However make sure that the second one has a slightly different number . Just take it into your internet provider and they will do it if you don’t know how. Only takes a couple of mins. You can then connect whatever appliances you want to that router via Ethernet cable or WiFi

You could buy Wifi booster from Amazon. Just plug it in where you need it
