If you have a spare router just use that as an extender/repeater. For example if weak upstairs and your main router down stairs simply hook up another router upstairs give it another WiFi name and it is as good as the main one for either WiFi or connection via Ethernet!!! Plenty of spare routers for sale I am sure

Groucho, I currently have a TP Link AC750 Extender, Model RE200, purchased in north Cyprus. Do you think the product you suggested will give better performance than this? Thanks.
