Is anyone else having trouble paying their Turkcell bill online I've been trying for 5 days via both the app and the link they sent to me but all i keep getting is a message to say they are unable process please try later.

I got the same reply, tried a different card and it went through no problem! Strangely, the same thing happens with Kibtek, they accept one card and Turkcell accept another card. I use Lloyd’s MasterCard for one and Nationwide credit card for the other but can never remember which one works for which - lol.

Weird, I've been using same card for months. I've only got one.

This does Turkcell and Tellesim as well as kibtec and the local Bellideieres works with halifax for certain

I had a problem paying through the app just now, but have managed to pay via their website using Revolut card.

Paypoint is very handy, paid both Kibtek and Turkcell last month, just to try it out, and it was a breeze. Wish Tatlisu Bele were on it too.

Have checked my water account with Girne belediye on Paypoint and it comes up as all 0s. Does this mean that the account is in credit?

I paid a lump sum before we left 6 months or so ago, hoping that would take us to September when we’d planned to be back. The water is turned off so it should only be the “fixed charge” - Girne seem to charge a set amount whether water is used or not (presumably if you used more than this amount you’d be charged).

Does this make sense?

Being stuck in Manchester for the forseeable future, I need to pay the monthly water, rubbish collection, electric street lighting etc.
I am trying to access the Girne Belediyesi on line bill payment facility. Somehow the system will not accept the account number. The last -00 will not register. Does anyone know how I can input these last numbers? What am I doing incorrectly?
Any help is much appreciated, I anticipated returning to Ozankoy in April and only paid the bills up till then.

The Girne Su account number looks like this 19-103-0000-00 leave the dashes out when inputting on pay-point
I use a card that gives me near market rate on exchange such as Halifax clarity or Nationwide
The good thing is you don't need to transfer money into a TRNC back so save on transfer costs

Paid the outstanding water bill with Halifax Clarity.
Should have water when I finally get there.
