Cannot connect Sonos speaker to WiFi?

We had a power outage last weekend and I have been unable to reconnect my Sonos speaker to the WiFi. I have tried everything including factory reset to avail. I thought perhaps the power surge may have damaged the Sonos but having tried it at a friend's villa it connected to their WiFi immediately so that is not the issue. I can only assume therefore that there is an issue with my WiFi. I use Streamvia and this has been put on my receiver. I have noticed recently that sometimes the IP address on some of my devices is changed, possibly after a power outage. Does anyone know what may be causing this?

Hi judyvin,

Found this online...

Sometimes when the power goes there is a conflict in the channel setting.

"Here is what worked for me:
Open the Sonos app on your mobile phone.
Click on "... More" toward the bottom right of the screen
Settings > Advanced Settings > SonosNet Channel
Change to another channel.
See if your system works now. If not, try another channel.

It worked for me."

Thank you.
It has just come up with system unconfigured. I've logged into the Sonos app, given the device a new name and it's working again!
However I can't get the microphone to work and the Alexa app can't find the Sonos. It now works if I send Spotify etc. From phone.
Have you ant suggestions how to get Alexa back Navek?

I've now get a message that says Alexa is not available in your country! This is a bit odd because Streamvia is set on the receiver on my roof so I would have expected Alexa on all devices connected to my router to work?

I had similar issues. I bought a Sonos Boost which connects all your wifi Sonos speakers via wifi and works for me. I don't think that a VPN on your router would come into play with regard to your audio output.

Hector, the audio output works now but will only play via Bluetooth from another device. I can no longer get Alexa to work despite the DNS being set on my router/receiver. Previously I could ask Alexa to play from Spotify but the Sonos App now says this feature is not available In my country and the microphone won't even turn on. Not the end of the world because the speaker is working again but the Alexa feature was very convenient.
