Skin cancer specialist
Does anybody know how to make an appointment with Dr. Fatma Deniz? Where does she practice from? She comes highly recommended but seems to be in different places at different times. Otherwise, can anybody recommend any other doctor in this field, and how can I make an appointment.
Thank you

We found her at the Kyrenia Medical Centre. That is the one if you pass HSBC on your left it is just up the next street on the right. Phone 03928151498 for appointments.
Would recommend her, she speaks adequate English.

We saw her at Girne State Hospital. A lovely lady. We were very pleased with her.

Personally, I would go and see her at the Girne State Hospital. The cost is a fraction of what it will be to see her privately plus if you need to be checked over for 'suspect' moles etc the machine that NCCCT bought to do this is at the Girne State Hospital.
Her english is adequate (and alot better than my Turkish)

Re: Skin cancer specialist
I had a BCC last year.
Diagnosed by Dr Turk who refered me to Dr Pertev. Needed a skin graft which was done by Dr Orgun. (All Near East Clinic/Hospital)
All involved were absolutely brilliant, Dr Orgun is the man for plastic surgery !

I saw her in July at the Kamiloglu Hospital, Girne. Her number is 05338631669.
I was worried about a mole and she gave me a full body check, examined all my freckles and moles. The cost was approx £32. Spoke good enough English and is a very pleasant lady. I recommend her.

Can I phone Dr Fatma Deniz directly to make an appointment with her at Girne State Hospital, or do I have to go to the hospital to do that?

Re: Skin cancer specialist
We were given this number about 18 months ago for making an appointment with her at the state hospital:
0392 815 5097. Alternatively, you can go in person to make an appointment at the hospital but you need to go to room 307, of course it could have all changed since then...
My brother went to Kamiloglu a few months ago to make an appointment with her, he arrived around noon on a Friday and she saw him straight away.

Went to Girne State Hospital to make an appointment with Dr Fatma. The system has changed and appointments can no longer be made. I was informed to go there on Thursday, the registration/pay office is open from 7 am and to be there by 8 am to get one of the 30 available slots.

Re: Skin cancer specialist
This is the normal system to see any of the doctors. If you get a ticket you then have to wait until the doctor arrives (9-10am) and then for the ones ahead of you in the queue to be seen all the while trying to fend off ones who want to push in with or without a ticket... It's probably better to see her at Kamiloglu unless you don't mind waiting for a few hours, although it's not so bad at this time of year - in the summer it's very unpleasant
