Hi. Has anyone undergone this procedure? Was it absolutely necessary and were the results conclusive?

As a female, my only response would be that such a biopsy can never be unnecessary, for peace of mind if nothing else.

Given that the readership of this Forum has a large majority of mature age many would be interested to see any information/experiences on this subject to be shared. I certainly would.

I underwent the procedure last year with a positive result.

I have since under gone a course of radio therapy and hormone treatment.

The biopsy was performed at Kolan Hospital and cost 2000,00 TL.
